WALK AWAY WHEN YOU CAN'T FIGURE SOMETHING OUT. A SOLUTION WILL COME TO YOU. DON'T GET FRUSTRATED. ENJOY WORKING ON THEM. REMEMBER IT IS A HOBBY. |

| Don't be afraid to ask for help. Many of the members are glad to answer questions on repair solutions. |

I recently sold a machine to a fellow with a repro topsign. The machine itself was still bright and shiny and too good to polish, but had that yellow tint from the lacquer turning color over the years. The topsign of course was bright and shiny. He really wanted the sign to match the machine better.
So I bought a can of 'amber' colored lacquer and gave the sign a couple of coats and it almost matched the machine perfectly. He ended up being very happy. |
