Today marks the end of my Cash Register Restoration Career. The end of an Era came with the completion of this small Peninsular Cash Register. I will still tweak some of the registers I have on hand, but no more full restorations. Instead I want to concentrate on cleaning and organizing my work areas, and enjoying what I have already restored. Plus I have only been doing NON NCR's in recent years and ran out of machines to find.

Bill, I have mixed feelings about your "retirement" from performing cash register restorations. On the one hand, you have been restoring these beauties for many years and deserve to retire. However, on the other hand, you do terrific work. You are a meticulous professional at bringing these machines, especially the cast iron non-NCR's, back to their former glory. I am thankful you have restored several registers for me. Our hobby will miss your restoration work. Enjoy your time away, but keep an open mind about your retirement because one day you will undoubtably find another wonderful register worthy of your skill.
