Scroll 5 with Till Punch

I have been meaning to post this register and finally got around to it. Picked this up in Texas a couple of years ago and restored last year. It is very unique in that it comes with a till paper punch. From what I have been able to figure out – Any number key will register on the detail adder, flag will raise and punch would activate (dropping a paper disk into the drawer). Oddly the drawer is configured not to open. The drawer will only open when a “No Sale” is keyed, but the punch will not activate. A lot of design and fabrication went into this little mech (see pics). There are some additional internal pics (“No sale drawer” opening only connection) I forgot to take while assembling. It has been shown to a couple of old timers, but they have never seen or heard of this option and not sure if NCR or after market. The entire punch mech is and was Nickel plated brass (If I remember red) except for inside cylinder that cuts/punches the disk. Unfortunately, no drawer label.
