cool...I've never seen a domestic one before now. I've seen a couple of German ones and contemplated changing one over since they also used base 10 but I never did.

Found out that camera is spelled with a "k" in German.

I googled J.F. Kinman and it seems he was in the 11th calvary in 1901. soon thereafter he became a photographer for the Sierra club taking pictures of yosemite and the San Franciso area. Hence he must of had a photography store of some sort. I'm still searching for info.
