I purchased these 2 registers from a friend in Pittsburgh, PA. The woodie is a model 46 and the bronze machine is a 35. When he sent me the photo of the 46 with the clock on the slab, I thought the clock was for the 46. When I went to pick up the machines it turns out that the 46 had it's own clock. I wound up with 2 clocks. The second surprise was that both machines were sold by the same NCR salesman that sold the very first register I bought in 1968. His name was M. N. Jacobs and he worked out of Pittsburgh. I now have 3 machines sold by the same salesman in the 1890's.The second clock is now residing on a model 5 that had a ring but no clock.
