Here is something every restorer needs. A good selection of replacement springs for your mechs. While restoring a 313 I noticed I needed a new spring to make sure the machine recycled correctly. I took out my assortment of springs and I had a new spring. A friend of mine gave me this. He bought it at a hardware store. Good to keep on hand. I put a picture of the old one that was on there. It definitely needed replaced.

Great tip Rick! I took your advice and also picked up the cotter pin pack at harbor freight. Was able to use both to fix a drawer release mechanism for my Model 35 project.
