I have a 324 that has 324-S5 on the model tag. There is a full area cast brass shelf with 5 counters mounted left to right on the underside with windows that show through the brass. This is near the back. Then there is an approx. one and a half inch strip of marble. Finally upfront there are 5 horizontal buttons that are attached to the counters. All of this is one unit that mounts to the register with 2 small diameter rosettes that have shafts that penetrate the marble holes. There is a c14 foundry casting number on the underside. Anyone know anything about this?

There is a picture of one in "The Incorruptible Cashier Vol. 2" on page 204 & 205. The model # on this one is 324-55-V. This register came from a barber shop. Each counter was for a different barber to keep track of the # of haircuts they did???
Nice find. I've never seen one available?? NCR would make many one of a kind modifications in order to sell their machines.
