I received an email about a Champion Cash Register. I remember seeing one like this in the early 1980s in an antique shop in Avon, Ohio. I believe it is more of a bookkeeping system. Any input would be appreciated.

    > Hello,
    > I have come across a cash register that I can find no information about online and am looking for advice to help my search. It is a Champion Cash register from Grand Rapids Michigan. The inspection card under the drawer says that it was made in 1894 and that it was register number 284. Many of the parts are stamped 566 so I am guessing that to be the model number. It has a brass and nickel finish and only keys labeled 1 through 5. I can't find any other champion cash registers online and only one reference to the company in a 1897 Detroit business directory. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a copy of the Incorruptible cashier Vol. 2, It has a Appendix 5 on page 382 that says "Champion Credit System, Cleveland, Ohio. Nothing else listed on your machine???
