Anyone have a Russian cash register? A production company for the television show Madam Secretary contacted me looking for a fancy cash register that would have been used in Russia. Anyone have anything?

What about an Anker? Russans could have purchased from Germany. (I don't have one)

What kind of money did Russia use at the turn of the century?

Unless it was in a very large store, when they might have had a German-made National-Krupp lever machine, they would have used an abacus. Many shops just had an abacus and paper handwritten slips until the 1980s and in the countryside many still do.

The currency then was roubles and kopeks and still is.
