Nothing Sold was created by Vintagepos
I have read that the early machines did not have a No Sale key and the operators were using a key that was not used very often to open the drawer for change. The first No Sale was marked as a "Change" key which was not satisfactory so it was then called "Nothing Sold" and was not well received. I beleive that the last batch of "Nothing Sold" flags were done in 1896 and after that the key became "No Sale"..Has anyone heard of this before?.........Milton
