Bill,

Curt Dalton gave me information about your organization and suggested I call you about some old NCR manuals I have. My father worked for NCR for 40+ years, starting out as a serviceman in Brooklynn, NY. He passed 4 years ago. I recently contacted NCR headquarters about these and they put me in contact with Curt at the Dayton History Museum. He said they would love to have the manuals if I could ship them at my expense and donate them. I may be willing to do that but was hoping you or someone in your organization could give me some idea of their value. Curt said he cannot by IRS regulations estimate their price. If you think someone might be interested in them I’d be willing to talk to them. Here’s the list:

1. Mechanical Instruction Book for Model 11-EN Adding Machine (1951)

2. Illustrated Mechanical Description of the Class 1500 Register (1944)

3. Illustrated Mechanical Description of the Class 1800 Register (2 copies) (1928)

8. Mechanical Inspection of National Cash Registers Classes 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, and 1700 (1924)

9. Grinding and Polishing Equipment How to Dress and Temper Tools for the NCR Company Field Service Departments (1935)
