  • Since I became CRCC President I have posted all the registers people have contacted me with requesting the services of the CRCC Marketing Team to help them achieve maximum profits. Little do these people know that our membership has difficulty in selling our own registers yet alone non members machines.

    Hello Bill,

    Serial # 1247628
    Model # 552-EL-5F
It is located in Nashville, TN
The register operates under the power of the electric motor but for whatever reason it does not operate by use of the crank.
The cabinet was refinished some 40 years ago as it had multiple coats of paint covering the natural finish.
As you can see the change plate is missing.
The legs at the bottom of the cabinet had been removed (or broken off) and the door front in missing.
All of these issues are shown in the pics.
I have owned this machine for 40 years. I used to be in the cash register/point of sale business years ago. I more recently owned and operated a sign business here in Nashville and have since retired and sold the business. I say all of this to explain why I need to sell the register. I keep it in my showroom as a conversation piece. The new owners are asking me to get it removed.
As to pricing I would appreciate any input you would feel free to offer as I have been away from the market on these machines for sometime now.
If you are not comfortable doing that I will take my best shot at it from what I find online and ebay.

    Many Thanks,

    Wayne Meece

    Subject: Cash Register

Dick Witcher sent me your email. I will post it on our club web site and facebook page if you would kindly tell us your asking price, location, and mechanical condition of this floor model cash register.

Dozens of individuals contact us each year wanting our assistance in marketing their machines, but done give us the desired information requested above. This is a down time in the cash register collecting field, and large registers are a difficult sell.
