Fishy Auction???? was created by jdietrich
Well it looks like you will have another chance at around 40 of the registers sold at Morphys. The auction is January 31 in Indiana. You can see on liveauctionners.com

I compared pictures from this January 31st auction against photo's from the Morphy third auction and discovered the same registers, just photo's from different angles. Prior to the internet, I attended many auctions where I saw good registers purchased by other auction houses at higher prices than they should have sold for. 6-8 weeks later the same register would be auctioned off at an out of town auction house. Sort of protection for the seller. I suspect this might be the case with this auction since most are the bottom feeders from the Morphy auction. I was told there was someone buying all the small ones for crazy money and there are a number of small ones in this auction. But none, are the real good machines.
Only difference I noticed were the 31st auction registers had photo's taken at a different angle than at Morphy's.

If we knew the consignor, it probably would be very revealing.
