This posting is for a Bottom Feeder Special, and I am told there is no better place to troll for bottom feeders than the CRCCI web site.

112 year old ORIGINAL CONDITION Muren Cash Register with a nice two sided etched glass reproduction top sign in a red brass frame.

Register is in excellent mechanical condition. The nickel plated cast iron case is in very good shape for it's age and has NO nickel plate peeling off. Like all these Detroit Cash Register Works Registers, this machine needs a set of key checks, flag indicators should be painted, and wood base and drawer should be refinished. At least that is what I would do if I were to keep this machine. Case presents well and does not need anything more than a good cleaning.

This is an opportunity for a newer collector to get a nice entry level register at a reasonable price. What I like about this register is the metal till instead of the marble till which is most common on the Detroit Cash Register Works machines.

I don't ship cash registers, but I would deliver to the Chicagoland Coin Op Show/CRCCI Swap Meet if paid for in advance. I am open for reasonable offers. I would sell the machine separately, or the top sign separately, but the best buy would be to purchase them together.
