It is impossible to find new red brass wood screws for drawer fronts.
6-32 case screws work just fine. If the fit is too tight, tap the wood with a 6-32 tap.

I remove the red brass wood screws from the drawer fronts of junk registers I sell and replace them with yellow brass screws. That way I am always assured of having some red brass wood screws on hand.
