Brass Cash Register in Southern Wisconsin

I asked for a photo or two of this register and where about in Southern Wisconsin it is listed. Did not receive any response.

Good Morning,

I have a NCR 452 SN 1400963 that I purchased about 20 years ago in hopes of restoring it. However, I can’t seem to find the time to put in to it. It has been covered in my heated garage ever since. It does work, however at the moment, its jammed up. It does have the base but it needs some work.

I have found that I need the garage space and am contacting you to see if you’d know anyone in the Southern Wisconsin area that would like this old 452. I would like to give it away to a collector if they would pick it up and move it out of my garage. I’m pretty sure all the keys are with it too.

If you would know of anyone feel free to have them drop me an email and I can send pictures. Again, the price is right.

My only other option would be to turn it in for recycle but hate to do that with a working machine.

Thank you

Ok, the fellow with the FREE Model 452 in Wisconsin sent me some pictures. I am posting this is the members only section so that NO non paying members will get access to this machine.
Good Morning Bill,

Thank you for the reply. I’ve attached 3 pictures of the 452. The price is free and someone will have to have a couple people to load because of the weight. I can’t help as I have a shoulder issue right now and don’t want to screw it up any worse. The first one to come get it and move it gets it free.

Thanks
J Davis

Thanks Bill,

I’m a stone’s throw outside of the Village of Cross Plains which is west of Madison, Wisconsin about 10 miles on Highway 14. I’d rather see it go to a collector for restoring, parts, rebuilding, or whatever, versus going to salvage.

Thanks
J Davis

Ok Club members I picked up the machine today. The base is missing the back. It looks like its been dropped. I am trying to get it unjammed. So far no luck. It is not in very good shape. We will see what happens. Thanks Bill for the tip.
