Any one else agreeing with me that, E-bay (now adding taxes)
is hurting sales of anything being sold there?
Im pretty much done with E-bay now.
Facebook is the best place to sell now (I think)

I'm in agreement. Bought a top sign several months ago and when I had to pay a sales tax I have NOT bid again. Not sure about Facebook as a selling venue, but I will try it. Craigslist in my opinion is useless.

I agree it is hurting sales BUT it is the government doing this not Ebay, they are just following the new laws. Its a lot of work for them also with no financial benefit to themselves.
It is very, very complicated for us Ebay sellers also.
I am about to retire out of this business. Too much paperwork.! IAM NOT RETIRING REAL SOON UNLESS SOMEONE STEPS UP AND BUYS ME OUT. where else are you going to get the parts you need?
Anyone want to buy Vintage Cash Register ? lock stock and barrel -- from contacts, parts patterns, registers, scales, inventory, good name, tools.and too many parts to imagine. Full time business for 50 years plus all my knowledge on restorations and repairs.

    Not totally blaming e-bay here.
However, e-bays rates alone, I feel are too high.
Plus they make money on pay-pal... Greedy...
I have sold 8 different items on Facebook, locally.
Did not cost me anything, got cash in hand to boot.
E-bays way of doing things is out of touch and somwhat
old school as there are many other FREE selling sites now.
Back "when", E-bay was the big man on the block
just like a news paper called "Tradin Times". Remember
Tradin Times??? Same thing here I say.....
