Found this one at an antique shop. Very unusual and not sure how it works. Has an Osborn tag in it

Does anyone have one or seen one before?

I wonder if it is some sort of token or counting machine? From the picture, I can't tell what the mechanism is on the top left side.

Todd, yes I was thinking it was a token machine too. It has a large tube on top(for tokens?) and looks like you select 1 to 5 with the large level on top and then turn the crank handle on the side. Think the tokens would drop into the small cup.

I believe the mechanism on the top left side is some kind printer. Has a spool almost like an old typewriter.

    Anybody else?

My guess is it would be some king of European machine. Unusual, never saw one like it. What kind of price tag did they have on it?

Employees were paid in tokens and this system was for the company store to accept those tokens and also record credit sales. Sixteen tons and what do you get? That sole was recorded on this device.

Curt That's it and very cool. Thanks for the information and finding it. It's overpriced but I think I will have to go back and work on the price with them
