  • I received the emails below about finding someone who could possibly restore a wood case register. Can anyone of you provide assistance to the individual who made the inquiry?

  • Cool Sun Model 10. with a Hallwood top sign. They have a simple mechanism. If you pull down the front cover the drawer opens exposing the key arrangement. Pressing down the keys for the sale allows the correct ball to roll down the grove with graduations designating the value of that ball. 1/4 inch ball bearings are a perfect replacement for the missing balls. The toughest problem will be in replacing the graphic strips in the grooves. I was lucky in that my Model 10 was 90% complete and all of the graphics were original and perfect. Looks like the wood restoration on yours will be quite easy.
