  • The April 6th Swap Meet and Meeting were both pleasant experiences. Swap meet went off smoothly thanks to the effort made by John to get the details worked out at the last minute. Arrangements have been made for the November 9th Swap Meet to be held again at Kane County in conjunction with their coin op and advertising show. Club meeting went smoothly with no disruptive forces present to give negative energy to the meeting. Most enjoyable were the group conversations in the lobby of the Quality Inn on Wednesday and Thursday evening.

All members present enjoyed meeting Sam and Maria our members from Australia. Hopefully, they will return to visit us again. At the club meeting a unanimous decision was made to make a more positive approach to Brass Cash Register Collecting. We want to emphasis collecting for the love of collecting, and not collecting for profit, and put FUN and Enthusiasm back into our collecting efforts.

If you are able to attend the November 9th Swap Meet and Club meeting please do. You will find it a most enjoyable experience. Please check out the Cash Register Collector Facebook Page. Club made the decision to utilize social median along with our web site and news letter to connect with members, and hopefully attract some new membership. Thanks to Mike Novak for getting the page up and running within 48 hours of the decision to move forward with it.
