Is there a particular brand of lacquer you guys recommend for me to spray on my machine?
I just restored one and want to protect it for as long as I can.
Any tips? I appreciate it.

I have been using , Mohawk clear gloss brass lacquer and it’s worked pretty good. I sprayed it on clean, newly buffed out brass and it goes on nicely. I am not sure how it will work if you use it over another finish. Amazon has it

I USE RUSTOLEUM SPRAY CLEAR LACQUER FROM HOME DEPOT OR?
THIS IS FOR SMALL PARTS ONLY. ENTIRE MACHINES ARE DONE AT THE POLISHING/PLATING SHOP USING TOP GRADE AUTOMOTIVE CLEARCOAT.

I used Century Brass Lacquer by G.J. Nikolas & Co. They use this on Brass Musical Instruments as well as antiques. I haven't bought this in several years so I don't know if it's still available.
